We need a child care system that actually works for our kids, families, providers, and economy—and to do that, we need to build political power from City Hall to Congress.

We cannot continue to accept the status quo or percentages of the funding we need to build a robust child care system. We need lawmakers to take urgent action in 2024 and 2025 that that will support parents and families in participating in their communities, caring for their families, and taking good care of themselves.

Fully funding our child care system like other public infrastructure would also allow providers to receive good wages and benefits for the essential work they do.
